Artist's Description
A male, or buck, mule deer roaming the hills of the town Genoa NV. The population of deer in Genoa, seen 'grazing and munching' in the early evenings in and around this small town, is fairly large and can decimate most gardens, much to the dismay of local gardeners.
The mule deer, indigenous to western North America, is named for its ears, which are large like those of the mule. Often incorrectly called a " white-tailed deer." In addition to the larger ears on the mule deer, it's tail is black-tipped, whereas the white-tail's is not. The mule deer's antlers are bifurcated; they "fork" as they grow.

About Margaux Dreamaginations
As an award-winning photographer, I have been behind a camera as early as age 10 - capturing the light on the leaves, through the trees, the setting sun behind storm clouds and watching sunlight dance on the water. I create fine art, 'dreamaginations', inspired by the natural beauty, serenity, strength, order and perfection in the world. I am awed by the creatures that we exist with. My love of people watching turned into candid portraits, macro, landscape and street photography. I am a writer, photographer, traveler, lucid dreamer ...not necessarily in that order.
